William Farmer

About the Speaker

William Farmer is the Acting Federal Deputy Director for the Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center. His research focuses on advancing the understanding of water availability for current and future water resources management. His work has explored how current and historical water availability affects the sustainability and development of ecosystems and human populations. He received his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Tufts University, his M.S. in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering from Tufts University, and his B.S. in Environmental Science from Boston University.
