Tyler Hodges

Tyler Hodges is a PhD student in the Silviculture and Applied Forest Ecology Lab at the University of Vermont. His dissertation research aims to determine how avian species are responding to climate-adaptive silvicultural strategies in the northern hardwood and spruce-fir forests of northern New England. His primary research interests include avian, forest, movement, and quantitative ecology. Much of the research he is involved in focuses on determining how forest wildlife interact with their environment, often with the goal of improving silvicultural and forest management practices.
