Overview
After receiving his Ph.D. in Geosciences from UMass Amherst, Liang now works as a Professor at the School of Geography Science at Nanging Normal University in China. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Geosciences at UMass Amherst.
Research Interests
As an NE CASC Fellow, Liang's research focused on climate change and climate variability, through applications of GCMs, RCMs, and statistical methods. He was particularly interested in the influences of climate change on environment, hydrology, and ecosystem, and their responses, as well as the corresponding adaption and mitigation.
