Justin Dalaba
Overview
Justin Dalaba is an ORISE Fellow specializing in visual communications. Prior to pursuing a Master’s in Multimedia and Photography, he worked to translate research for natural resource managers in the Northeast region at Cornell University. In this role, he regularly engaged with the Northeast Regional Invasive Species and Climate Change Management Network. Formerly, he worked to advance knowledge of wildlife conservation challenges throughout South Florida and the Caribbean.
After beginning his career in science communications, he embraced visual storytelling to share impactful stories that can inspire change. He believes human stories of culture and relationship have the power to resonate better than the scientific data alone. As a visual communications specialist, he aims to advance understanding of climate challenges and solutions in collaboration with NECASC staff and partners.
