Research Interests
My research interests broadly center on freshwater ecology, changing habitat conditions, and physiological and behavioral adaptation. Much of my current work evaluates whether identified habitat requirements for coldwater fish capture the actual habitat usage patterns seen. Specifically, I am investigating the habitats that native brook trout use throughout the full 24 day in response to changing temperature and flow conditions. I am also evaluating the effectiveness of combined daily and nightly mobile radio telemetry for tracking fish habitat use.
