James Daley
About the Speaker
Jim Daley is the Superintendent of Fish Culture, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. He has been with the DEC for over 30 years, joining the Department in 1991. Over the span of his career he has worked in both the agency’s wildlife and fisheries bureaus. Jim started his career at DEC as a wildlife biologist, became the Coldwater Fisheries Unit Leader where he coordinated the agency’s trout and salmon management programs, and he currently supervises the DEC’s fish cultures section, comprised of 12 fish hatcheries located across the state.
