Cathy Haffner

Cathy Haffner is a Pennsylvania Game Commission Wildlife Biologist and Wildlife Diversity Conservation Planning Coordinator who co-developed the 2015 Pennsylvania Wildlife Action Plan (WAP) with the PA Fish & Boat Commission. She currently serves as Chair of the State Wildlife Action Plan Coordinator Subcommittee of the Northeast Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Fish & Wildlife Diversity Technical Committee. Cathy holds degrees in Resource Ecology and Management from The University of Michigan and Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota. Cathy is an ornithologist and conservation biologist by training, contributing to research and recovery of bird populations including Kirtland’s warbler, common loons, and piping plovers.
