Research Interests

I am interested in analyzing water resources infrastructure; specifically, I research alternative operating policies that may be followed to decrease a project’s negative ecological impacts. My goal is to suggest alternative operating policies which improve local ecosystems while maintaining security from extreme hydrologic events. Dams that operate with multiple objectives (such as water supply, flood control, etc.) are of particular interest to me. I am also interested in studying the effectiveness of de-centralized water supply systems.
