NE CASC is delighted to announce the dates and lineup for our Spring 2025 Webinar Series! Our schedule will kick off on March 12th at 4:00 PM with a talk on “The Importance of Sediment to Northeast Salt Marshes and Threats Posed by Regional Decline in Coastal Sediment Supply.” This presentation will explore the connection between declining suspended coastal sediment in the Northeast, the prevalence of coastal armoring, and the outlook for ecologically and economically important coastal wetlands such as salt marshes. Speakers will include Brian Yellen, Jon Woodruff, Wenxiu Teng, and Dylan Roy from UMass Amherst.  Following this opening talk, NE CASC will sponsor two additional webinars this spring.
