The U.S. Geological Survey Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) will soon advertise a job opening for the position of NE CASC Assistant Regional Administrator (Biologist/Physical Scientist GS-0401/1301-14).
A key member of the NE CASC Leadership Team, the Assistant Regional Administrator for the Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center, carries out a variety of duties, including:
- Working with Federal, University, and NGO partners to foster partnerships in climate science and technical assistance
- Providing leadership in program planning and evaluation
- Providing leadership for new science initiatives
- Assisting with the development, negotiation, and implementation of NE CASC operations
- Supporting compliance with federal policy and program guidance
